True to the Batasiolo wine making tradition, wine goes under way by stripping and fermentation plus maceration on the skins for 10-12 days in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.
Aged in slavonian oak casks for a minimum of two years and subsequently for at least twelve months in stainless steel tanks and more refinement in the bottle.
Great with red meats, game, roasts and cheeses and cured meats. When more mature, it is a great wine for meditation.
2014 was a classic year, delivering bold, tannic, and sometimes austere wines that will repay cellaring.
